About me

I am a New Orleans native who has photographed the rich culture of New Orleans and The French Quarter for over 50 years. I am a retired college teacher of engineering and photography. I owned and operated a successful photography business and lab. Photography is my passion and teaching is a joy. I am skilled in film, digital photography, Photoshop and Lightroom software. It is a thrill to capture ephemeral elements of life that unfold before me.  It’s my obsession to freeze a 3D moving world onto a 2D still frame.  Within the camera, elements of time and space converge into a canvas that is frozen forever, never to be occur again.
